Movies of the year 2023.

 

This was the year I came closest to giving up on the everyfilm quest, simply because life got in the way.

This time last year, Mrs W was going through chemo in advance of surgery and radiotherapy, and there wasn't much chance to go to be in crowds, so the cinema was out.

Thankfully, she is in good shape now, and we also have our first grandchild, who has given us much joy and taken up time.

Meanwhile, we have also been travelling worldwide, playing golf as an antidote to the months of being stuck inside.

After much thought, we had a new lease of life with the movies in December, so I decided to continue.

So here are my top 20 films I got to see in 2023, and there will be more in 2024.
